Cunnane Town Planning have recently secured planning permission at committee for a hot food takeaway within the City of Westminster. Despite the amenity pressures faced by the Borough, the Practice was able to negotiate and overcome the concerns of the Council. The Practice was able effectively liaise between the Client and the Council to present a considerate proposal which safeguarded the amenity of neighbouring occupants and the free-flow of traffic in this congested part of the City. In addressing the Council’s concerns the practice was demonstrate that the use of electrically driven motorcycles would be significantly quieter than their fossil-fueled counterparts, and could be used to mitigate against potential noise impacts in this instance.
