The Former British Sugar Site, Scawby Road, Brigg, Scunthorpe
Acting on behalf of the Property Recycling Group, Cunnane Town Planning has provided strategic and detailed planning advice on the development of a 30.8 hectare former British Sugar site, in Brigg, Scunthorpe.
Heading a team of consultants, covering ecology, transport, landscape, flooding, ground conditions and contamination, Cunnane Town Planning prepared a detailed justification and outline for the deliverability of the site at Scawby Road, Brigg, as an area of land suitable for housing and employment allocations with the emerging Local Development Framework. The report set out the details of the area promoted for allocation, the context of the proposals and finally presents a masterplan vision for the site.
Representations where submitted to North Lincolnshire Council’s Housing and Employment Land Allocations Development Plan Document, Issues and Options consultation in October 2007. Following our submission, the Council will now consider the representations and are expected to report a Preferred Options document in Spring 2008.
