City Road Basin Master Plan
Cunnane Town Planning provided advice and generated the planning support statement for City Road Basin Master Plan which covers an area approximately 3.5 hectares, inclusive of City Road Canal Basin and its towpath. The masterplan sets out to provide an overall framework for future City Basin regeneration proposals. Its primary objectives were to redevelop and enhance the public realm, City Road Basin, the surrounding sites and transport systems. It introduces a mixture of uses (leisure, residential, retail and entertainment), to enhance the character of the conservation area. The master plan includes a phased implementation strategy to ensure commitment to the funding, maintenance and management of the area.
