On behalf of a private developer the Practice has recently obtained planning permission for an Italian restaurant in a vibrant quarter of Manchester City Centre. As well as preparing a supporting statement to accompany the application the Practice had to instruct professional noise consultants to carry out an acoustic survey in order to satisfy the concerns of local residents and the planning authority.
The restaurant incorporates an outdoor eating and private dining area in addition to a main restaurant floor catering for 200 covers. The new restaurant will be a further expansion of the client’s existing portfolio of restaurants, which are located in the City Centre and the south Manchester area.
