Planning permission has recently been achieved for a development of 9 apartments on a prominent vacant brownfield site close to the centre of Fulham. This important urban site displayed a number of design constraints, being bounded by a locally listed church of 1 ½ storeys, a 5 storey mansion block and residential terrace to the rear.

The Practice worked closely with the architects and developer to devise and promote a scheme that bridged the differing building types whilst also respecting the setting and character of surrounding buildings. Detailed negotiations were instigated by the Practice with the Council, which succeeded in planning permission being attained quickly and with minimum cost.
