Cunnane Town Planning are acting on behalf of Simons Developments in the redevelopment of a 3.2 ha brownfield site close to the centre of Minehead, Somerset . In co-operation with the local authority the proposed redevelopment comprises a mix of food and non-food bulky goods retailing with associated restaurant and environmental improvements, and is aimed at filling a identified ‘gap' in local retail provision.
The practice is providing technical and strategic advice on the promotion of the application; addressing retail impact, development control and environmental issues in a series of supporting documents.
