Wychwood Park, Crewe
Acting on behalf of Countryside Properties, Cunnane Town Planning provided strategic and detailed planning advice on the development of a 100 ha greenfield site. The proposal includes a new Golf Course and Country Park, based around a new settlement of 315 dwellings, Community Hall and local shopping provision. Located in a prominent position, close to the M6 corridor, the proposal required careful assessment and justification during promotion through the emerging local plan and planning application stages. Planning permission was achieved through positive negotiation with the Local Planning Authority, rather than via the appeal process.
